Joe Dumars
4 • Shooting Guard
Born: May 24, 1963, Shreveport, LA
Height: 6'3"
Weight: 190 lbs.
The quiet Joe Dumars didn't exactly fit Detroit's "Bad Boy" image, but on the team he was a perfect fit, regardless. Dumars silently put up big numbers and was considered one of the most underrated players in the game until his 1990 selection to the Eastern Conference All-Star team, which is not so unbelievable playing on a team containing egos like Bill Laimbeer's and Rick Mahorn's. Upon retirement, the much beloved Dumars was named Pistons' Director of Player Personnel.
Career highlights:

- NBA first team all-defense, 1989 and 1990
- Named to NBA all-rookie team, 1986
- 1989 Finals MVP (avg 27.3 pts for series)
